Kidoush: Kiddush this week is sponsored by David Lallouz in honor of receipt of his long-awaited Green Card and continued legal employment and residency in our host country.

Tuesday Shiur: Pirqei Avot, Chapter 6: What is the difference between learning Torah and learning Torah "Lishmah" (for Torah's sake)? Doesn't every Rabbi learn Torah for Torah's sake?  How can we, the laypeople, distinguish between the two? Note: We will be praying Minhah & 'Arvit in the main sanctuary of Ohav Shalom at 7:50.  Shiur will follow the Tefillah and begin at approximately 8:15 PM.

Special Annoucements:

New Round of Hatan Classes: Rabbi Elkin will be teaching a new round of classes for Hatanim beginning this coming Monday night at 8:00 PM. The classes are open only to men who are currently engaged.  If you or someone you know might be interested in participating, please contact Rabbi Elkin directly at wsssrabbi@gmail.com.

Sephardic Singing class: with our Chazzanim: Lyor Dahan, Sacha Ouazana, and Ouri Marciano. Open to all ages, children and adults. Come learn correct Sephardi pronunciation, Teamim, Piyutim, and other Chazanut-related subjects. Every Shabbat at 12:15 to 12:45 on the 3rd floor of Ohav Shalom.

Daily Minyan: Hazak to all those who come to our daily Shacharit tefillot! We are working hard to ensure that we have minyan every morning; please make every effort to attend. If you are interested in helping coordinate the minyan, please speak to Itai Azulay or email him at itaiazulay@live.com . Click here for times.

Children's Groups: Children's groups are meeting this week from 9:45-11:45 am in the basement of Ohev Shalom. If you'd like to help out with the children's groups, please contact Meryl Degen at meryldegen@gmail.com

Many of you have still not registered for this site and we encourage you to do so ASAP.
